AMICIZIE EXPAT

Questo post è un macigno e per questo ha ristagnato per qualche mese come bozza... credo che oggi sia il giorno giusto per tirarlo fuori...
tratta di un argomento delicato sul quale sto rimuginando da mesi e spero che qualcuno abbia voglia di condividere un'esperienza o un'opinione con me.
Dopo quasi tre anni lo posso dire: l'amicizia non va in expat!
Era una delle cose che non avevo messo in conto. Pensavo di poter partire portandomi dietro anche gli amici di sempre ... sapevo che mi sarebbero mancati e non mi sbagliavo.
Io sono un ariete, per me gli amici sono "pochi ma buoni", sono uno dei pochi punti fermi della mia vita.
Quando sono partita sono stati in tanti a dirmi: "si ma non sparire eh?! non è che adesso, perché te ne vai, non ti fai piu' sentire!..."
No, non sono sparita. E non ho smesso di farmi sentire. Ho sempre scritto, messaggiato, ho fatto i salti mortali per vedere tutti nei miei brevi weekend...
Sperando di ricevere la stessa dedizione. Credevo che le mie amicizie decennali se la meritassero, un po' di dedizione.

E invece...

Ho deciso che non voglio essere un'amica in carne ed ossa per chi non mi vuole anche come amica-expat. Non lo capisco e non lo accetto. Non in un'era tecnologica come questa, in cui basta mandare un messaggio, 140 caratteri, anche meno, per sentirsi piu' vicini.
Non ho intenzione di essere un'amica da weekend per chi non si interessa di come sto quando non ci sono, per chi non mi chiede mai se sono felice, o anche no, cosa sto facendo, quali sono i miei progetti di vita...per chi non ha voglia di raccontarmi come va la sua, di vita, di condividere con me un successo,  ma anche una piccola notizia della quotidianità.
La tecnologia è una grande invenzione, ma non lascia scampo: chi non ti sente è perché non ti vuole sentire.
Appurato questo, la vita va avanti! con nuovi amici, nuove esperienze, nuovi amori, nuove case, nuove cose...in tutti i luoghi, in tutti i laghi..LOL =D

Remember when I talked about Frau Gerold's Garden?

Remember when I said that there are some nice shops around the place?
Good memory! ;)

Here I want to talk about one of those shops: STREET FILES -the one that most caught my attention and where I want to go and buy something A.S.A.P.  =D

As you c an see from the pictures, the shop sells clothes, accessories and shoes a bit bohemien-chic (definition just invented by me; please forgive ;) ) from different brands.

The first time I saw the shop it was closed, but I fell in love with some backpacks and bags from SANDQVIST ( a swedish brand) that I want to go and see from closer...

and this gym bag INGO, that all alone is worth a tour at the gym!!

Visiting the website I have found some other lovely stuff, like this wonderful New Balance pink shoes

and this shirt for men with small penny-farthings

Aren't they lovely products? :) I think the shop is definitely worth a visit; what do you think?

Oggi vorrei parlarvi di questo negozio che mi piace molto e che presto vorrei andare a vedere da vicino ( da dentro, per la precisione) =D
STREET FILES
E' un po' in stile bohemien-chic, definizione da me appena coniata, per la gioia degli addetti ai lavori del fashion che sentiranno un brivido lungo la schiena ;)

Il negozio vende vestiti, accessori e scarpe, ma la mia attenzione era stata catturata da alcuni zaini della marca SANDQVIST (svedese); sono un po stile "alpino in montagna", ma li adoro!

23.8.2013: Saliamo tutti sull'autobus un po' assonnati o troppo intenti a pensare TGIF...solo una ragazza si è accorta di un signore che sta dormendo e che forse doveva scendere, visto che siamo al capolinea.
Lo sveglia, gli chiede se deve scendere, lui cade sulla terra da un altro mondo, lei ferma l'autista che stava per ripartire e lo fa scendere, probabilmente risparmiandogli un'ora di ritardo al lavoro...

AUTUMN COLLECTION - SHOPPING TO COME

Adoro quando le vetrine annunciano NUOVI ARRIVI! molto piu' di quando dicono SALDI...
non so perchè...mi dà la sensazione che i saldi nascondano sempre una fregatura (anni e anni di vissuto italiano in cui ti rifilavano certa fuffa...); mentre qualcosa di nuovo accende sempre la curiosità :)

Comunque, a quanto pare nel calendario svizzero Agosto rientra nell'Autunno, anche se il tempo è ancora piuttosto estivo per i miei gusti...e io ADORO LA MODA AUTUNNALE! la piu' bella in assoluto, secondo me...va beh...tutto cio' per dire che i negozi hanno già esposto le loro collezioni A/I e che quindi ovviamente la mia lista-armadio-virtuale altrimenti detta "seavessiunarmadiogigantecomprereituttequestecose" è partita...evvai!

I love when the windows of shops say NEW ARRIVALS! much more than when they say SALE...

don't know why...it gives me the feeling of something that is not worth buying; while something NEW is always worth it, right? ;)

Anyway, apparently here they have their own calendar, as August is considered to be Autumn even though I have to say that the weather is still pretty much summerish...and I ADORE AUTUMN! best fashion ever, for me...well...this is just to say that the shops already put out their fall/winter collection and my list "wishIhadahugeclosetsoIcouldbuyallthis" has started...yessss!

PLACES TO BE ♯1: Frau Gerold's Garden

One of my favorite places in Zurich is _unfortunately only in summer :( _ Frau Gerold's Garden.

The name is really appropriate as it is a garden, a real one, with plants all around and pots of flowers and herbs everywhere.

The bar belongs to the grunge area behind Hardbrücke train station, the one with the well-known-in-Zurich FREITAG tower, where exhibitions take place and shops of emerging brands fill in the containers, leit motiv of the area (needless to say that I have found a shop where to buy WONDERFUL bags ;) )

The place is very easy, rare for Zurich (this is probably why we like it so much); you serve yourself at the bar (food and drinks are quite good) and there is no one coming and asking "do you want another one?" even before you finish the first beer!! (very annoying and irritating habit in Zurich bars! grrrr...).

As the place is quite wide, they have a very cool tool for the orders of food. When you order something to eat, at the kitchen they give you this weird techno disc.

When it vibrates, it means your food is ready and you can go and pick it up at the desk. How cool is that?? =D

We really enjoy the place every time we go there; wonder why we don't go more often ;)
